Visitors wishing to experience almost 1000 years of Pembrokeshire History can now use their Pembroke Castle tickets to gain discounted entry into Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre. The offer will run for the duration of the school summer holidays, and will require visitors to show a Pembroke Castle ticket or Till Receipt in order to get a discount on tickets to the Heritage Centre.
Pembroke Castle is one of the most popular heritage attractions in the county, and visitors who would like to follow on their visit to the 11th Century Castle with a slice of more recent history will be given the opportunity to find out about the Castle’s Norman origins, the Magna Carta, the birth of Henry Tudor, alongside the maritime stories of the Royal Dockyard, the recent military history of the area including the Battle of the Atlantic and much more.
The Castle is only four miles or ten minutes’ drive from the Heritage Centre, and visiting both venues gives people a real opportunity to continue their journey through the county’s history.
The Sunderland Trust have worked with staff at Pembroke Castle to bring visitors a special offer, whereby they can now get £1.00 off the standard individual admission price at the Heritage Centre, or £2.00 off a family ticket when they show their Castle tickets. Gift Aid options are also available.
