Glynnis’ career has mainly involved working in Public sector but she has had experience of voluntary work including being regalia secretary for the Bristol Owners (Car) Club for many years, and working in a Charity shop. After 19 years as a Local Government Officer in Oxford, Glynnis moved to Wales in 2009, shortly after the Flying Boat Centre opened. She joined the Flying Boat Centre as a volunteer and then became involved with the Sunderland Trust’s 1940’s Events Committee. In November 2009 Glynnis secured a work placement with the Sunderland Trust through the Work-ways scheme, administered by Pembrokeshire County Council and was subsequently taken on by the Trust. She has become an indispensable member of the Project Team.
