Do you want to do something new in 2018?
Are you interested in local history, aviation or engineering?
Do you want to meet like-minded people on a regular basis?
Would you like to help a community-focussed organisation?
Do you have three hours each week that you can spare?

In 2018, we are looking to expand our volunteer team!

On 23 January, the Heritage Centre will be FREE ENTRY to all as we welcome anybody who might be interested in helping us out in the following areas:

Workshop: If you are good with your hands, practically minded and interested in the subject matter, we need people to help restore, rebuild or create replicas of historic artefacts, and to assist with creating exhibits and displays!

Collections: If you are thorough, enjoy working with historic objects and can use a computer, we need people to help research, catalogue, document, photograph and prepare our collections of historic items including art, photography, medals and much more!

If you are interested in volunteering in these areas please drop in on the day to talk to our volunteers and pick up an application form.

If you aren't available on this special Open Day, please contact 01646 684220 or email enquiries@sunderlandtrust.com and we can arrange to meet with you at a time that suits you.
