Support us

If every website visitor donated £1.00, we could raise almost double the amount raised by all our fundraising in 2018, and we would safeguard our Heritage for another year.

Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust operates Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, and is a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1120476. We do not receieve any regular external funding and rely on donations to continue to operate.

Please support our work by considering a small donation through our Local Giving page.

Group Visits

The Heritage Centre regularly welcomes groups visits, including coach tours, community groups, clubs and societies. Pre-booked groups of ten people or more are able to benefit from our special group rates, which can be a saving of over 40% on the standard adult admission. Contact us on 01646 684220 or email

The Heritage Centre grounds include ample space for car and coach parking, so regardless of how your group get to us, there will be plenty of space for you all.  The Centre itself is fully accessible, including ramped access to the main entrance and all displays on one level. The Heritage Centre also includes a Coffee Shop selling hot and cold drinks and a range of cakes and snacks, with free WiFi throughout.  Find out more about our facilities by clicking here.

In addition to the warm welcome given by our volunteers, we can also provide sit-down talks lasting approx 45 to 60 minutes, for an additional charge of £10 per group of 20.

Talks include the following topics, subject to availability:

Giving a talk to a group of visitors
  • Early days of the Dockyard
  • Nelson and Pembrokeshire
  • Pembrokeshire Shipwrecks
  • The Friendly Invasion
  • PD and its Flying Boats
  • Sunderland T9044
  • The Battle of the Atlantic
  • Pembrokeshire Airmen
  • The Great Fire of Pembroke Dock

Alternatively, if your group would prefer a personalised guided tour, this can also be arranged at the same rate.

Community talks

Alternatively, your group may want one of our speakers to come out to give a talk at your meeting or in a different venue. Talks at other venues can be arranged subject to a small charge to cover administration and travel. Please get in touch for further details.
